A great eye-level view of this Great Black-back Gull JJ and a wonderful capture!

Super aerial capture JJ...I'm not good at juvie Gulls, but I thought the juvie Great Black-backs had yellow tips to their bills

Lovely detailed close up, lighting and capture of this big fella JJ, many tfs.

Something about the composition really gives a good sense of the size of this big gull. M.aybe it's the angle he's flying at - no threat to the viewer, but still a close encounter.
