Phantom Robin
What with one thing and another.... on top of a major laptop breakdown, I've very few images at the moment of local birds.

Here's one that escaped the crash by still being on my camera LOL. Out with my friend to Craighall and he tried to take a picture of this young Robin on the gatepost. Trouble was there was a leafy branch in the way!

I should have deleted it, but it does look rather ghostly, doesn't it. Saturday Fun worthy, I think

the blurry foreground makes actually a great composition, Delia, beautiful closeup of this lovely robin, many tfs!!
so sad you've lost all those photos, you should maybe consider buying and external backup drive (or 2, mine got damaged last week, fortunately I had another one with all the photos on).

Your lovely robin looks suspicious too. Hope it survives the next intentional crash. One of my best shots ever was a bat in the dark night sky. 100 % IQ with 100% details, nearness, perfect flash exposure and clarity.
A hacker destroyed the files where it was stored.

Lol, it appears to be stepping out of another dimension D! It is amazing to me how many times I take a picture and when I get it on the computer a branch is across the subject, usually its face or eye. TFS my friend!
