Really lovely Ove, a classic pose and I like those tawny and orange tones and the patterns on the mantle and head.

(I have to admit that in 40 years birding, I've seen a Brambling no more than 20 times at the most, so it's a bird that still fascinates).

We get them during winter, sometimes in quite good numbers. Yours is a wonderful portrait of this beautiful species.
