Arizona Woodpecker Close-up
This woodpecker is only found in Arizona and a small corner of New Mexico within the United States, it is also in Mexico. It used to be named the Strickland's Woodpecker.
Habitat
Inhabits coniferous forests between 4,000 and 7,000 feet.

Marvellous capture, Liza! This bird is a beauty! Some of our Woodpeckers have the same red neck-patch, but not that beautiful pattern. :t::t::t:
