I agree. My son ribs me about just taking photos of birds on sticks. But I reply that it is nice bird on a nice stick, so what’s not to like.

I’ve won awards with my birds on a stick. So, I look for great sticks wherever I go. Depending on the greenery, they usually last for several days. I just looked at your gallery…you like sticks, too.

I do indeed. I now have a setup with yogurt pots filled with florist’s oasis fastened to a wooden batten, to try and keep foliage fresh. It's all part of the fun.

I have two small ponds I built, in between two game feeders. During a drought this gave both feed and water to all kinds of critters. One is loaded with corn and the other with birdseed. The sticks are in PVC pipe of different diameters I have stuck in the ground at different angles. If you would private message me your email I will send you a shot and description of the setup.
