during summer ... may
come down to lower
altitudes during
winters ... but
surprisingly we have
found a pair breeding
at an altitude less
than 5000 feet where
this male was recorded
...

Reminds me of my time in Thailand. I was eagerly looking for them in Doi Inthanon NP. Walking along the streams and always afraid of snakes. 🐍🐍🐍🐍🐍🐍🐍🐍 You can be cautious but my experience is that you often notice them very late, luckily not too late.
