Blue-winged Helicopter Damselfly, World's Largest
Blue-winged Helicopter Damselfly (Megaloprepus caerulatus: Pseudostigmatidae) Worlds largest damselfly. Body length for large males can exceed 12 cm (4.7 in) with a wingspan of 19 cm (7.5 in).
Habitat
Tropical lowland moist broadleaf forest (rain forest). About half-way up the paved road (foot-traffic only) to the summit of Cerro Cedro near 152 m (500 ft) elevation.
Location
Metropolitan National Park, Panamá City, Panamá Province, Panamá.
