Whinchat male in the reed-beds
A first for me yesterday, spotted a wee bird catching the sun, grabbed a few shots .....

Marvelous spot and capture of this male Whinchat in the reed beds. Excellent lighting, focus, colors, and setting. First-rate Scozmos and congratulations.

I used to have a pair of these breeding on my Up the Hill patch, but they suddenly disappeared!!!

A terrific picture this lad - well done.
