superb video of this elegant flycatcher, Renu and Alok, nicely posing for you and showing its lovely crest, top class, many tfs!!
 
Very lovely video of this female.(y) I waited for hours at several places in Cat tien NP to see them one more time.

What an amazing looking flycatcher. Love that crest up and that rufous-colored plumage. It looked pretty secure hidden in the armed branches. Excellent work Renu & Alok! TFS!

In the last few weeks we've been given new gallery search parameters and even more recently, one for the videos too. If you look at the ones on this flycatcher, which I've just updated, you'll see how they look. Real game changers these ... far fewer false positives!!

I'm sure you'll have some questions, so either email me or ask in Editors.

Thanks Alok. There are a few oddities in some of these searches which we have have to work out, so don't be shy of asking, but mostly they work just fine.

Basically, put all the scientific names in, plus the common name and alternate names, each surrounded by " and {{!}} separating them. Also note that's an exclamation mark between the two curly brackets (I thought it was the 'pipe' | at first LOL)
