Common Myna - Introduced from India in 1865 to control insect pests. 9' sexes similar. White wing patches are conspicuous in flight. They are social birds that travel in pairs and assemble in noisy flocks. Hundreds may roost communally in large trees, sometimes becoming a nuisance.They eat fruit, insects, small lizards, carrion, and scraps, primarily in urban and suburban areas. Pairs may engage in serious fights, often surrounded by onlooking birds. Breeding extends from Feb. to August: one to three broods are raised
