Common Buzzard

Had a great day shooting landscapes in Mid Wales with Alan(Valley Walker) when we came across this guy by the side of the carriageway on the way home. Thanks to Alans spot on driving he slowed down enough for me to grab this shot.Sadly when it was his turn to take a shot I didnt slow down enough (sorry mate). He is claiming I was doing 60 but it was only about 53!

Thanks for a fab day Al,loved it!

A real stunner. We often see them alongside the road when we drive up to Scotland but I've never yet managed to get a photo of one.

Judging by the perch it's chosen, it's hoping to be invited to live in a cushy falconry centre - LOL. How on earth you got a shot of that quality from a moving vehicle is beyond me. Fabulous work in great light. :t: :t:

Top shot Mike, I couldn't get anything like this un, if the car was bloody parked, good combined effort.

:eek!: Unbelievable, from a moving car!!! You both are cracks: Alan at driving and you, Mike, at clicking!!! :-O Wonderful and special Buzzard worth of the loudest !!! o:)
