Lovely shot! Saw about your mishap with the settings dial that cost you an egret shot. Still doesn't beat my dial mishap. We saw a gorgeous kestrel hovering just over the cliff edge when we were up on the crags along Hadrian's Wall. I grabbed my camera out from under my rain jacket, but hit the settings dial from A to S in the process, and last time I'd set a shutter speed was for a 4-second shot at night :S Totally whited out the shot of a life-time, looking straight down on a hovering kestrel. I suppose it's some comfort to hear that it happens to photographers much better than I.
