Common Cranes in flight
Four Cranes have stopped off at Kinnordy this past week and I managed to get to see them yesterday.

Not a Lifer, but a Scottish tick for me.

I'd just arrived at the hide when they did a fly past, circling the loch then returning to the swamp area.

I just had to try my new camera out and considering the distance they were from me, I'm quite pleased with the result - at least they're recognisable! My first attempt at flight shots.

I tried to get some closer Lapwings, but they just moved too fast to follow them.
