Common firecrest
Looking up. Yesterdays upload of a firecrest showed this bird on top of a twig, similar to the one on its right side. Now can you imagine, how rare/difficult it is, to capture it on top of one of those tiny twigs. It was a day with three fcs, foraging in the vegetation next to me.

Fabulous frontal close-up of this jewel with a great head turn and lovely eye contact. First-rate setting and composition. TFS JB!
