Common Grackle (Quiscalus quiscula)

This morning, I had a flock of a few thousand blackbirds land in the wooded field and trees adjacent to my home and forage for acorns on the ground. Thankfully, they didn't head to my feeders and, eventually flew on to a new location, but this afternoon, a single Common Grackle flew into my backyard and foraged for seeds that had fallen from my hanging feeders. Really a pretty bird, but hope he doesn't bring all his friends with him on his next trip.
