Common Gull Juveniles (Larus canus)

I don't 'do' gulls but I think these two were too old to be that year's brood and I'm really not sure if they were born on my patch at all. Many times I thought there were a couple sitting on nests but never saw any baby ones until 2010.

Loads of gulls seemed to like the area and would come to the lochan to bathe and hang out.

I love being with my two lovely children, but to be honest, i'm missing viewing other BirdForum members images & also reading their comments on my bird images
