Common Moorhen (Gallinula galeata)

Saw this one in the Sweetwater Wetlands in Tuscon Arizona. What impressed me about this guy was how his large feet allowed him to walk on the bent grass without smashing it down.... like snowshoes on the snow, ... a very cool feature!

Great shot. These are certainly common here but still great looking birds.
