Common Moorhen
It's always nice to see these guys swimming across the water especially when they're within reach of my lens LOL.

Had to lighten this one quite a bit, but at last got to see where the eye is;)

Seems I need to do some work on understanding the settings in bright sun, but not sure when I'll get another opportunity with this awful weather system we've been suffering!

A lovely species and picture taken at a fabulous angle. A calm looking scene though this species can be quite raucous (lol). Superb D!!! TFS!!!
