Common Red Shank (Tringa totanus)

Shot from a distance & cropped. Not the greatest of shots but a first for me. Was lucky to find this lone ranger at Sewree mud flats in Mumbai which is a habitat for thousands of flamingos.

They're quite common birds here for us but I always love watching them puttering about in the mud.
