Common Redpoll (Carduelis flammea)

Redpolls have been increasing in number in southern Ontario for the past few weeks. The last time I went to the Hilda Road feeders, there were just three; yesterday, however, they were the most numerous species at the feeders. This is one of my favourite shots.

Yes, their numbers have been increasing. We've had as many as 50 at a time at our feeders lately. They are great looking little birds. Great capture!!

A lovely capture of this little cutie. Not so many around my area this winter.
