Common Sandpiper

I dont normally do waders (dont like lying in mud LOL!) but made an exception with this one.He was just sat on the rock without a care in the world whilst I was walking the dog.I like the perch and colours in this one.

Stunning Mike, beautiful setting, and sharp, not an easy bird to capture, with its bibbity bobbity action, not sure which is worse wagtails or these.

Fab one Mike, absolutely gorgeous :t::t::t: Hope the sun will come out this weekend (as forecasted) - i might try the 'Sigma 500mm 7.2 prime' on the dslr the way you explained to me. Enjoy your weekend!
