Common Snapping Turtle (Chelydra serpentina: Chelydridae) Adult carapace length ranges from 25-47 cm (9.8-18.5 in) but can reach 50 cm (20 in).
Habitat
Hardwood riparian, creekside at ca. 300 ft elevation.
Location
South of the municipality of Wickson Creek along Wickson Creek, Brazos County, Texas, USA.
