Common Swift
From yesterday. A moderately heavy crop, but closer birds just whizz past the window before I can raise the camera to my eye. Last year I got only one (lousy) Swift shot, but since then I've got to grips a bit with birds in flight.

In case anyone thinks the eye highlight is too good to be true, it hasn't been "enhanced" digitally! The light was at just the right angle. I'd taken a few Swift shots in the last few weeks, but they hadn't showed the pale throat. I still haven't heard them screaming, though.

Thank you for your comments on my pictures, stay safe and well, and good birding!

Great picture of this fast moving swift. Terrific focus, stop-action, lighting, detail, and background. I love the light shining through its wings and tail. First-rate John! TFS!
