Common Whitethroat (Sylvia communis)

Another shot from our most recent visit to Bough Beech. My balance wasn't too good trying to follow the bird as it moved through cover, but finally it perched in the open and I managed several shots without falling over.

Nothing finer than a singing bird and this is a beautiful image John!
 
an excellent capture of this whitethroat in full song, John!! you got it in a great setting, top class, many tfs!!!
I went out for a couple of hours this morning, I heard (and saw) several of them, always so lovely.
