Common Wood Pigeon

Common Wood Pigeon (Columba palumbus)

I don't know what this bush is, but Woodpigeons do seem to like the berries. No other birds show any interest in them.

Thank you for your comments on my pictures, stay safe and well, and good birding!

Either they're hungry and don't care what it tastes like or they taste fine to the Wood Pigeons ;)

A great image of this Pigeon feasting on those berries John!

A brilliant colourful capture you have of this feeding Pigeon John. Great to see, well done.

Such lovely colours and detail in this wonderful behavioural shot, John.

It looks like it might be Elderberries he's after John. Wait till the spring and see if it has the most beautiful smelling tiny white flowers (make lovely wine!)

That's a gorgeous picture John - many thanks my friend.

It looks like Sambucus - elderberry. Strange that no other birds are interested. Beautiful shot you got of this Wood Pigeon enjoying them |=)|
