Commonly known as greater
Whitethroat on a juniper shrub. Could've been an even better photo if the head was turned just a little less so s/he wasn't casting a shadow on his/her own face ... or if I'd managed to take a step up the trail without spooking him/her.

Ah! I think we went past Øysanden on our way to Smola, didn't we? That was some drive, wasn't it LOL

It's a long time since I've seen a Whitethroat and can't, now, remember which one it was. That's a terrific picture Ann - well done.
