The Kite we were watching had been suddenly joined by another. This second one disappeared somewhere, but was very quickly replaced by a Buzzard, would you believe They seemed pretty comfortable with each other.

That was one of the 'good moments' of birding I think; always the way when you see something unexpected.

Thanks to JJ for noticing the error, which then brought back the memory of what had transpired. I'd forgotten and didn't study this picture well enough!

Looks like the bird at the bottom is a buzzard rather than a kite, making this capture even more exciting.
