Comparison: Semipalmated and Least Sandpiper
B

Comparison: Semipalmated and Least Sandpiper (Calidris pusilla, Calidris minutilla)

Juvenile Semipalmated and Least Sandpiper, side by side for comparison purposes. The difference in leg colour is diagnostic, though sometimes it's difficult to see. Other clues include the warm brown colour of the Least versus the pale greyish brown of the Semipalmated, and the white throat and white supraloral patch of the Semipalmated (all plumages).
