Concealment?
In the reeds to the left of the hide was a Greylag. We wondered if it was a female and maybe planning to nest there - she was actually alert watching another one coming in.

S/he never moved from the spot all the time I was there

However, never saw any further sign of one there so they probably changed their minds on the site.

To date still not seen any goslings.

well concealed to be
found, D. -- playing so
hard-to-get she wasn't
got, so to speak.
A sad little story but
another great shot,
