Conversation (Bucephala clangula)

This Goldeneye pair was having some sort of conversation. Poor light, of course. The river runs close to steep hills to the south, so no direct sunlight down there until later in the year. Still ... it was a clear day, so the ambient light was adequate at a high ISO.
And Delia, I didn't actually take a sickie. I have flexible hours. I'd worked on Saturday, so I was entitled to a day off. ;)

hi ann. you captured that light and attitude well on this beauty.i find the panasonic really good with low light captures and i am really happy with its captures so far and i promise i did get that gull on that water just enhanced it a little as the camera seems to do well on its own.many tfs all the best margaret.
