Cooper's Hawk
Our resident Cooper's Hawk.

I was walking out to one of the Eastern Bluebird nest boxes and he flew out of a tree & came within about 10 feet from me. Didn't have my camera at the time but he sat on this dead tree long enough that I was able to take these shots after I got back to the house.

Great head twist from this Cooper's though it makes my old neck hurt just looking at it (lol). Great behavioral capture Larry! TFS!
