Cooper's hawk (Accipiter cooperii)

This young Cooper's hawk was trying to sit unnoticed in the shady pine forest, but had been spotted by some blue jays - they were surrounding the hawk and screaming their heads off to alert the entire forest to the danger, and the hawk was looking around at all the jays giving away its position.
