Couch's Kingbird (Tyrannus couchii)

Couch's Kingbirds are normally found in the very south of Texas, southwards into the Tropics, so imagine my surprise when this one spent the afternoon of Jan. 15th and 16th, flycatching over the lake on the golfcourse behind my home. It kept returning to this hackberry tree very close to my house, so I was able to get some great photos from my second floor deck.

Thanks for all the nice comments, everyone. Forgot to say that this is a new species for my backyard list (or garden list, if you're from the UK!).
