Cream-colored Woodpecker (Celeus flavus subsp. flavus) Male, species sexually dimorphic. A distant view in deep shade but I was glad to watch this beautiful Woodpecker and its mate. Napo Wildlife Center, Yasuni Biosphere Reserve inside of the Yasuni National Park, Orellana Province, Ecuador. Floodplain of the Napo River along Aangu black water stream. Ecuadorian amazon rain forest at ca. 200 m (656 ft) elevation.

What fantastic colouration - I wouldn't call it cream, I'd say it's a gorgeous lemon! I'm glad you were able to capture it for us Stanley!
