Crow with his lizard lunch (Corvus corone)

Quite chuffed with this shot.I thought when I was taking shots of this bird from a distance that it was a Rook.then when viewing them, realised it was a Crow,a bird of which I have never managed a near decent shot. Was watching him trying to pick something out of the rocks, and noticed it was a small lizard. This was the last shot taken, before he flew off.

I can imagine that you're quite chuffed with this one Christine, it's a beauty. Hard to photograph, but you did very well. Great timing with the lizard as well :t::t::t:

|=)| By the thumbnail I thought it was a dirty-billed Chough! |:D| Very well done capturing this guy so nicely, Christine!!! :t: :t: :loveme:

It is a good shot :t: Considering how aggressive they are to other birds, they are surprisingly flighty aren't they?
