Curlew back in the fields behind garden with lapwings, snipe, redshank and oystercatchers. first swallow, house martin, sand martin seen; willow warblers and meadow pipits back in big numbers. Ospreys, SEO and divers around.
Then 3 inches of SNOW yesterday hope any eggs laid survive.

There's something about summer and listening to Curlews calling, isn't there!! What a great picture you've got of this guy. Well done.

i wish i had some of those birds near me to go with the snow i had today and yesterday.great bird mark and capture.all the best margaret.
