Curve-billed Thrasher

Curve-billed Thrasher (Toxostoma curvirostre)

Heading down from Albuquerque through Central to SW New Mexico and eventually making it to Tuscon and as far South as Patagonia Arizona. This was a very nice trip with my Dad, a much more serious birder than myself. This Thrasher flew right up next to our car and sang us a nice little thrashing song. Of course it flew away just as my Dad was digging out his sound recording equipment.
