You'd think those eyes would be a better trait to choose for its name. Don't pretty much all thrashers have curved bills? Some curvier than others, of course, but the Crissal's bill is curvier than this one's. Those eyes, however ... most thrashers have yellow eyes and a few have dark eyes, but as far as I know (which admittedly ain't much) isn't this the only one with blood-orange eyes?
Oh well. Rant over. Now I'll count to 10, and then go back to enjoying this excellent shot |=)|
