Dark Eyed Junco (Junco hyemalis)

Back earlier in Dec. we had a huge rainstorm. A very heavy, cold rain with high winds. The only birds out in it were the juncos. These birds seem to be impervious to fall and winter weather.

This is a great closeup of this Junco Bill and beautifully captured guy!
 
Guess some were built tough!!! And this one certainly seems to have adapted well to wet conditions!! Beautiful capture Bill!!! Well narrated!!! TFS!!!

They certainly compete better in inclement weather that any other bird I know. Fabulous picture Bill!
