Dark Fishing Spider (Dolomedes tenebrosus: Pleauridae) female. The body of females are 1.5-2.6 cm (0.6-1.0 in) long. From tip of a leg to the tip of its oppose leg is ca. 10.2 cm (4”) long.
Habitat
Post Oak Savannah vegetation area. Open park with riparian woodlands along the margins of Davidson Creek at 94 m (308 ft) elevation.

Davidson Creek Park, Caldwell, Burleson County, Texas, USA.
