Dawn Cranes - Make my day! (Grus canadensis)

One last early dawn action shot. This time I did wildly swing my camera in the direction of some action I'd caught in the corner of my eye. Usually that move results in nothing much. The action is over before I get it in focus. But this time I caught the tail end of the action. I don't know who poked the first poke or bumped the first nudge, but the juv is definitely getting told off for something ... and then it was over and all went peacefully back to preening, nibbling, and preparing to fly.

Great dawn capture, Ann, the light gives a lovely soft look.

A fantastic scene to witness and capture. I like this group shot of cranes very much, Ann.The purplish colour of the water in the foreground is lovely too.
