Rain forest, subtropical elevational zone at ca. 1,400 m (4,593 ft) elevation. Foothills of the eastern-slope of the Andes overlooking Rio Pocono Valley.

I can't tell head from tail on this katydid, which I guess is part of why the camouflage works so well. Fascinating critter!

Katydid was a name my brothers gave me very early in my life ;)

This is a beautiful image of this Katydid Stanley. Beautifully captured guy.
 
When my eyes saw this image I said, "I see this ugly leaf but where's the bird?" An incredible capture and bug. Well done, my friend.
