Decorous camouflage (Buteo buteo)

This is believed to be a Buzzard fledged in 2003 that was brought to me weighing no more than a blown up paper bag. I fed it up and taught it to fight for natural local prey available and 'hacked it back' as soon as was possible. He continued to return for short periods and would take food offered. This year he turned up briefly with a huge dark female in February and has since only been sighted on the wing, most recently as a threesome. I am assuming the best.
