deep woods or not. (buteobuteo)

i love these guys not great pics i know but a great time i had watching them no wolves, bears just foxes here but i still dont like going into these woods more because of the humans i may meet.three young buzzards who accept us as they know no better but the parent mum i may add returned and she was not happy with us being there so we left as she started dive bombing us a rather large bird and she soon calmed down as we moved off.great to see 3 new buzzards and i wish them well as they are great birds.

I probably shouldn't admit this but as I have a permit to carry, when I am in the woods on my own, I usually bring my handgun. Like you said, not the animals, it's the homeless sleeping in the woods.

Anyhow, I'm so glad you got a good view of these guys Mags and could share them with us.

You've got some very nice images of this family Margaret.

.... and I love your description too - quite an adventure.

Wouldn't like to meet KC on a dark night in the woods, would you?;)

A great collage of this parent and youngsters. I am glad you had a great time and are safe. I too worry more about humans that the other animals. However, I have to admit I am nervous in Bear country (lol).
