Departing the nest... (Falco peregrinus)

Yesterday another chick turned out a kamikaze street bomber, but should be returned today with the eldest one. The mother was visiting the only chick left in the nest, then flew off, killed a blackbird in a matter of seconds, then passed overhead and put the blackbird elsewhere to encourage the chick to fly to get to it.
