Desert Christmas Cactus (Cylindropuntia leptocaulis: Cactaceae) Flowers ca. 2.5 cm (1 in) in diameter.
Habitat
Gulf Coast Marshes and Prairies vegetation area, Tamaulipan scrub, ca. 5 m (16 ft) elevation.
Location
Just west of Port Isabel on Hwy 100, Cameron County, Texas, USA.

Beautiful photo, Stanley. I'm very little familiar with cactus plants. Didn't even know they have such lovely flowers.
