i became semi-tolerated by this male when i spent 3 months at santee lakes campground at the end of my 7 year r.v. journey. i have rented an apartment and sold my truck and trailer. i'm not likely to get a better shot of this species with my walk around style of bird photography so here it is.

I've trailed these guys up and down the creek and all around the wetlands and I know the difficulty of the task in getting a decent photo. You have down an outstanding job, Richard!!! You can be proud of this one!!!
