Did they drop more seeds over there? (Sciurus vulgaris)

Somehow the birds have managed to make several "midden" piles, not just directly under the feeders, but also under the pine tree where they often perch to open seeds, and for some reason another pile out on the lawn. This squirrel was scurrying from one pile to the next picking through the husks to find dropped seeds.
