Dipper & Waterfall

I used a slow shutter speed of 1/5th second @ F11 for this shot - it's the first attempt before I go back tomorrow and dramatically improve upon it to what I had in my minds-eye (hope I'm making sense) I took about a dozen frames one after the other but this is the only one where the dipper is sharp and the water blurred.
Habitat
Limestone river
Location
Derbyshire Dales, UK
Date taken
19 April 2008
Equipment used
Canon 1D MkII - 500mm f4 IS lens (IS turned off as usual)
Top notch Geoff, I hope you can get a shot that satisfies your high standards. This one would keep me grinning for a year.

Great shot, nearly had one of these upstream at Boscastle a few years ago, sadly a coach load of brightly coloured walkers scared it off....

A Dipper scene i always dreamt about, unfortunately still there! ;); A fantastic composition and very inspiring shot,Geoff. Let's hope the Dipper stays motionless without blinking. Good luck
