Distant juv Coot

Another one of those frustratingly distant birds, marginally closer this time.

Vest-Amager wetlands

Copenhagen

Great reflection and lighting, Ann; pretty good detail for a distant bird (I noticed your question about the oldest known Sparrowhawk... I might post more details in my next post of Fred, but in case I forget: A female Eurasian Sparrowhawk was found dead in Denmark 20 years and 3 months after having been ringed. The typical lifespan is four years)

Pretty reflection, lighting and setting, Ann.

Distant birds, just out of range of our cameras, is just as frustrating as wee ones that won't keep still!!!

You done well with this one Ann. It's always nice to see youngsters grown enough to be a little independent, isn't it.

Great reflection and detail of the Juv Coot, and a well taken image of the grayling Ann, well done.
